The 2nd China Digital Earth Conference (CDEC), organized by the International Society for Digital Earth and the Chinese Academy of Sciences will be held in Beijing, China from 6th to 8th Sept., 2021, jointly with the International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals.
With the theme of “Digital Earth for Sustainable Development”, the 2nd CDEC will explore the Digital Earth theoretical and technological innovation, application demonstration, and industry development in China. Especially, the contribution of Digital Earth technology to China's sustainable development and its application demonstration will be fully discussed. The 2nd CDEC will serve as an academic exchange platform for the development of China 's Digital Earth technology, the promotion of the national economy and society, and the realization of sustainable development goals.

III. Publication
The abstract (Chinese) should be submitted online for review. Once being accepted, the authors will be invited to give an oral or a post presentation at the conference. A collection of electronic abstracts (Chinese) will be produced, which is open for all attendees.
The oral and poster presenters can expand their abstract to a full article (English) and submit it for peer-review before publication. The accepted articles will be published in the Proceedings of the 2nd CDEC (EI) only after careful revision. The full article publication in the Proceedings will be charged additionally. Some excellent articles will be recommended for publication in the International Journal of Digital Earth (SCI) and the Big Earth Data (ESCI).

V. Registration and Attendance
The registration fee covers the participation to the opening and closing ceremonies of the International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals and the 2nd China Digital Earth Conference, the plenary and parallel sessions, exhibitions and organized recreational trips, the conference materials and tea breaks, etc.
